About KAHPS

Greeting

Founded in 1991, the Korean Association for Housing Policy Studies (KAHPS) is a multidisciplinary group of university scholars and government and private-sector practitioners dedicated to the scientific analysis of housing study of social, economic, political and behavioral phenomena.


Members are drawn from academia and the profession in the field of housing development, urban planning, rural development, economics, finance, urban public administration and geography. The main objectives of the Association are to promote impactful research and improve communication and exchange of ideas in the area of housing and allied matters among scholars, practicing professionals, administrators.

KAHPS organizes two academic conferences a year to provide open forums for the exchange of ideas, sharing resources and information and the dissemination of research relevant to applied decidion making in housing economics, finance, policy and development. KAHPS additionally hosts a range of seminars and organizes partners with other organizations and agencies to cover the latest research on trending issues and topics.
